Registration and suit fitting for the 2015 Perry Swim Team will be held Saturday, April 11 from noon 2 p.m. at the McCreary Community Building, 1800 Pattee St. in Perry.
The swim team is open to children ages 6 to 18. This competitive league competes in the Iowa West Swim Conference. Its meets are Tuesday and Thursday nights, with morning practices during the week depending on a child’s age group. Team members must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted.
The registration fee is $80 for the first swimmer in family and $60 for additional swimmers if all register at the same time. A late registration fee of $95 begins May 7, with no family discount for additional swimmers.
This year’s swim season runs from May 26 to July 11. Team suits are purchased from Elsmore Swim Shop, and the price of a team suit will be announced soon. Swimmers who miss the April 11 suit fitting will have to contact Elsmore Swim Shop directly.
