  • A vehicle driven by Gage Zellmer of Atlantic was stopped at the stop sign in the 800 block of Grove Street when a vehicle driven by Sandra Waddell of Adel was turning onto Grove St. and struck the front of Zellmer’s vehicle. Damage was estimated at $6,000.
  • Thomas Lilley of Adel reported criminal mischief in the 900 block of Bryan Street. Damages were estimated at $70.
  • Eunadell Hulse of Adel reported a theft in the 200 block of S. Sixth Street. No estimated value.

August 9, 2017

  • A vehicle driven by Keenan Mayhugh of Adel was eastbound through the intersection of Nile Kinnick Dr. South and Greene Street when a vehicle driven by William Reisetter of Adel was turning onto Nile Kinnick Dr. South and struck Mayhugh’s vehicle. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
  • A vehicle driven by Leeann Putman-Thomas of Adel was backing up in the 600 block of Greene Street when a vehicle driven by Nora Guillaume of Urbandale stopped for Putman-Thomas’ vehicle and was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Gordon Arp of Panora. Damage was estimated at $3,500.
  • CB Contracting of Creston, Iowa, reported a theft in the 600 block of Main Street. Items were estimated at $253.
  • A vehicle driven by Jon McIlrath of Adel was in the intersection of Nile Kinnick Dr. South and Greene Street when he turned in front of a vehicle driven by Matthew Merical of Minburn. Damage was estimated at $60.
  • A vehicle driven by Jeremy Collings of Adel was backing out of a parking spot in the 1500 block of Greene Street and struck a vehicle owned by Ashley Burkhart of Adel. Damage was estimated at $4,000.
  • Nicole Benedict of Guthrie Center reported a theft in the 1900 block of Greene Street. Items were estimated at $290.
