Adel Police Report Sept. 12-18

September 12, 2016

  • Randy Keasey of Adel reported criminal mischief at 911 Main St.  The amount of damage was unknown.
  • A vehicle driven by Christine Berkenbosch of Adel was turning onto Main Street from 15th Street when a vehicle driven by Jorden Embrey of Perry was turning onto 15th Street from Main Street and struck Berkenbosch’s vehicle. Damages were estimated at $4,000.

September 14, 2016

  • A vehicle driven by Kimberly Johnson of DeSoto was traveling in the 1400 block on Nile Kinnick Drive S when a vehicle driven Heather Volesky of Adel attempted to make a U-turn, striking Johnson’s vehicle. Damages were estimated at $7,000.
  • A theft was reported at the ADM High School, 801 Nile Kinnick Dr. S. Items taken were valued at $242.
  • Kum and Go, 409 Nile Kinnick Dr. S., Adel, reported a theft. Items taken were valued at $20.49.
  • A 17-year-old juvenile male from Minburn was arrested on charges of fourth-degree theft, first-offense possession of marijuana, possession on certain property (penalty enhanced) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

September 15, 2016

  • Leslie Garza, 618 Main St., Adel, reported a theft. Items taken were valued at $100.
  • Brandon David College, 50, 701 Prairie St., Adel, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
  • Lawrence Donald Marsh, 35, 105 1/2 S. Chestnut St., Minburn, was arrested for on charges of driving under suspension and insufficient number of headlights.

September 16, 2016

  • A vehicle driven by Olivia Kane of DeSoto was attempting to park at 712 Cottage St. when it struck the Family Dollar Store building. Damages were estimated at $2,200.
  • Casey’s General Store, 816 Greene St., Adel, reported a theft. Items taken were of unknown value.
