The Bethel Church in rural Boone welcomed a new pastor this week, the Rev. Josh McFarland, a graduate of A. W. Tozer Theological Seminary in Redding, Calif.
McFarland previously ministered for 14 years in Hartland, Mont., as head pastor of the First Alliance Church of Hardin.
Joining McFarland in the Bethel Church congregation are his wife, Holly, and their three children, Hannah, Susanna and Isaiah.
The Bethel Church will hold an installation service for McFarland during morning worship Sunday, March 5 at 9:30 a.m., and an afternoon open house is scheduled for 1-3 p.m.
The community is welcome to attend these events and meet Pastor McFarland and his family.
Bethel Church is a Christian and Missionary Alliance church established in 1908 and located at the corner of County Road R18 and County Road E57.
