Billy “Ross” Weddle, 65, of Perry passed away Monday, March 13, 2017, at his home in Perry, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 18 at 10 a.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry. Visitation will be Friday, March 17 from 3-7 p.m., with family present to greet friends from 5-7 p.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry.

Burial will be in the Dallas Township Cemetery near Dawson. Memorials will be given to the family and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent at www.carrisfuneralhome.com.

Billy “Ross” Ross Weddle was born March 30, 1951, in Perry, Iowa, to Billie Everett and Mary J. (Cofer) Weddle.

He attended the Perry Schools, graduating with the class of 1969.

Following graduation, he served his country in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam.

He worked at Rowley Masonic Community as maintenance supervisor for many years.

He was a member of the New Day Assembly of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie and Mary Weddle; wife, Suzy Weddle; and a son, Christopher Weddle.

He is survived by his children, Robert (Holly) Weddle of Pinellas Park, Fla., and Chad Barcellos of Des Moines; grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Brittany, Alexander, Antonio and Christopher; siblings, Susan (Dale) Higgins of Grand Junction, Joni McAllister of Ames, Carol (Terry Kenan) Tunink of Grand Junction, Kevin Weddle of Nevada, Iowa, and Marsha (Dennis Moranville) Thompson of Grand Junction; and sisters-in-law, Carol (Scott) Mckee of Bouton and Cindy Kelley of Woodward.
