Wayde Burkhart of Woodward was honored with the Iowa Realty Tigerland Award of Excellence for Sales and Units at the company’s annual year-end award ceremony earlier this month.
Burkhart completed a yearlong training boot camp for new realtors in the Iowa Realty organization and met or exceeded all his goals.
“I reached dollar volume and number of homes sold to get to my set goal by the company,” Burkhart said. “There was 53 people at the start of camp, but I was one of 31 individuals to meet criteria to receive the award.”
The awards ceremony was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in West Des Moines, with Mike Pace, a noted figure in Des Moines advertising, acting as master of ceremonies. Pace hosts a weekly Iowa Realty television program and specializes in high-dollar apartment living near the Waukonda Club and other swank metro neighborhoods.
