The Bouton Volunteer Fire Department responded to a car fire about 6:15 p.m. Monday at the gas station in the 13700 block of N Avenue and quickly controlled the blaze.
There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this hour in the passenger vehicle, which was parked well away from the gas pumps, giving firefighters ready access. Firefighters could be seen attacked the engine compartment of the car.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office also responded.
