Take this 10-minute survey, and improve life in Dallas County.

By taking a 10-minute survey, Dallas County residents can help community agencies better address people’s needs and concerns.

The Dallas County Public Health Department asks people to share their views about health care, transportation, employment, public services and other topics.

“Please share the link with your Dallas County friends and neighbors, too,” said Jennifer Walters, community health coordinator with the Dallas County Public Health Nursing Services.

  1. Are these being mailed out? If they are only being distributed electronically, they will miss a significant portion of the population.

    • This from Dallas County Public Health Community Health Coordinator Jennifer Walters: “We will mail a hard copy survey to those who request it by calling 515-993-3750. Residents can also pick a hard copy up at Dallas County Public Health, 902 Court St. in Adel. We are posting this information on social media and local newspapers and will also be leaving the postcards and table tents with this information on it at community locations, such as the library and at special events. If an organization would like to distribute and collect the hard copy surveys, I’m happy to have them printed and distributed that way. We do plan to send hard copies home with the kids at Head Start, too.” She added, “In addition to this survey, we are also doing focus groups with residents and city leaders and windshield tours of each community in Dallas County.” These are already well underway.
