The High Trestle Trail and the Raccoon River Valley Trail have captured first and second place in the City View annual “Best Of” awards.
According to Dallas County Conservation Director Mike Wallace, “The Dallas County Conservation Board owns and manages parts of two of the best trails in Iowa.”
Work on the connecting trail between Perry and Woodward, which will link these two major recreation assets, is progressing steadily with grant monies and land acquisition, Wallace said today.
