July 21, 2017
- Brooke Mutapcic of West Des Moines was traveling on 240th Street and turning left onto W Avenue when she was struck on the driver’s side by a vehicle driven by Rochelle Prohaska of West Des Moines. No injuries were reported. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Prohaska was issued a citation for failure to obey stop sign and yield right of way.
- Abby Hidlebaugh of Johnston was traveling east in the 23000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Jolene Rude of Grimes. No injuries were reported. Damage to Hidlebaugh’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500, and damage to Rude’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000. Rude was issued a citation for unsafe passing.
- Patrick Lee Glade, 28, of 31827 240th St., Dallas Center, was arrested at 590 Sugar Grove Ave. for driving while license suspended, operation without registration and no insurance.
July 22, 2017
- Nick Greenslade of Performance Marine and Power Sports, 4 Ellefson Dr., De Soto, reported the theft of a motor and prop from a boat on the property.
- Jacob Douglas Shaw, 27, of 1305 Sixth St., Perry, was arrested in the 14000 block of T Avenue for driving while barred.
- Dennis Mark Kamm, 44, of 1212 Main St., Adel, was arrested at 27114 360th St. in Van Meter for OWI and failure to maintain control.
- Shawn Patrick Stripe, 45, of 350 E. Dunham Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a violation of probation.
July 23, 2017
- Brandon Robert Oettchen, 31, of 1116 35th St., Des Moines, was arrested at 36312 F Place in Dexter for OWI, harassment and criminal mischief.
- Jesus Ramon Gomez, 19, of 1224 Fifth St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft.
