- Eric Brooks of Winterset was attempting to turn right onto Cherry Street from Guthrie Street in De Soto when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Alyssia Nolan of Panora. No injuries were reported. Damage to Brooks’ vehicle was estimated at $500, and damage to Nolan’s vehicle was estimated at $200.
- Deputies responded to 917 Guthrie St. in De Soto regarding a motor vehicle crash with injury. Stephen Peiffer of Van Meter attempted to back his truck up in the parking lot when he realized he had struck a motorcycle with a rider on it. John Lazdins of Booneville was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

- Christopher Hankenson, 33, of 1672 Rio Valley Dr., Clive, was arrested on a warrant for assault.
- Billy Dean Devilbiss Jr., 33, of 204 Lucinda St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of disorderly conduct.
- Loren Anton Goodwin, 38, of 1213 Grant St., Redfield, was arrested in the 13000 block of 240th Street for driving while barred and driving while license suspended.
June 11, 2017
- Kooper Joseph Duis, 21, of 5230 Boulder Dr., West Des Moines, was arrested in the 31000 block of Iowa Highway 44 for OWI.
- John Phillip Tafta Jr., 35, of 609 Carol Lane, Minburn, was arrested on a warrant for burglary and theft.
