- Derek Christopher Jorgensen of 1874 105th St. in Earlham reported theft and vandalism at rental property he owns at 910 State St. in Dexter.
- Tad Alan Duhn, 34, of 2500 Vine St., West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for willful injury causing bodily injury.
- Alma Florez-Smith of Westside, Iowa, was traveling east in the 24000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $8,000.
- Hiwot Gebretsadik of Perry was traveling east in the parking lot of Tyson Fresh Meats when his vehicle was struck in the passenger side door by a vehicle driven by Juan Herrera-Gonzalez of Perry. No injuries were reported. Gebretsadik was issued a citation for violation of an instructional permit and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
Damage to Gebretsadik’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Herrera-Gonzalez’s vehicle was estimated at $1,000.
March 25, 2017
- Arnes Hadzic, 18, of 625 S.E. Prairie Park Ln., Waukee, was arrested at 31034 Napa Valley Dr. in Waukee for public intoxication.
- Tyler Steven Beaman of 1501 First St. in Redfield reported the theft of motor vehicle parts from a vehicle parked at 418 Elm St. in De Soto.
- Monica Cardenas, 32, of 1250 S.E. 11th St., Grimes, was arrested in the 16000 block of Highway 141 Diagonal for driving while barred.
- Aaron Kotzer of De Forest, Wis., was traveling near the 104 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 80 when he swerved to miss a deer and lost control of his vehicle, which struck a cable barrier. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,000 and $500 to the cable barrier.
- Linda Ann Ridge, 45, of 623 Race St., Cambridge, Iowa, was arrested on warrants for probation violation on original charges of failure to affix drug stamp, possession of marijuana and theft.
