- Travis Rhiner of Adel was traveling north on U.S. Highway 169 at 330th Street when he attempted to stop but, due to the wet pavement, he ended up striking a vehicle driven by Wendy Wahman of Adel, whose vehicle in turn struck John Denherder of Adel’s vehicle in the rear. Rhiner also struck a vehicle driven by Linda Christensen of Adel. Minor injuries were treated by Dallas County EMS. Damage to Denherder’s vehicle was estimated at $3,000.00. Damage to Wahman’s vehicle was estimated at $6,000. Damage to Christensen’s vehicle was estimated at$2,000. Damage to Rhiner’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000. Rhiner was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
- Nathan Andrew Erdman, 33, of 35576 Walnut St., Booneville, was cited and released in the 33000 block of Ute Avenue for driving under suspension and speeding.
