  • Steven Greenslade of 1005 Redfield St., Redfield, reported the theft of a bicycle from his front porch.

May 6, 2017

  • Amanda Jo Sharp, 33, of 27186 360th St., Van Meter, was arrested in the 28000 block of 360th St. in Van Meter for driving while license suspended and violation of financial liability coverage.
  • Martin Ibarra of 2404 Evelyn St., Perry, reported the theft of a tire and rim from a vehicle parked at property his father owns at 15737 Tanner Lane in Woodward.

May 7, 2017

  • Edwin Alexander Escalante, 32, of 1007 Dewey Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for scheduling conference on an original charge of domestic abuse assault.
  • Jason Wesley Ward, 42, of 2514 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Chloe Cumberland of Algona was traveling east in the 25000 block of Iowa Highway 141 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $5,000.
  • Scott Sell of Waukee was stopped and waiting for a train on Ute Avenue in Booneville when he was struck in the front by a vehicle driven by Jackson Wilcox of Waukee. Wilcox was backing up and struck Sell’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to Wilcox’s vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and damage to Sell’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000. Wilcox was cited for unsafe backing on a highway.
