- Robert Paul Newhouse Jr., 29, of 1531 Glendale Ave., Ames, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of domestic abuse.
- Anthony David Rothmeyer, 47, of 2014 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on original charges of possession without prescription and OWI.

- Kody Brett Fisher, 26, of 803 Lyon St., Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for theft.
- John Thomas Ham, 65, of 616 Walnut St., De Soto, was arrested in the 26000 block of U.S. Highway 6 for OWI, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a license and failure to provide proof of financial liability.
October 1, 2017
- Larry Clayton of Thayer was traveling in 31000 block of N Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,500.
- Elizabeth Ann Scott, 35, of 690 S.E. Prairie Park Lane, Waukee, was arrested on a warrant for operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent.
