October 17, 2017

  • Cheryl Ackerlund of Minburn was traveling east in the 29000 block of 190th Street when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
  • Lily Sparling of Adel was traveling north on Nile Kinnick Drive when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Elle Hook of De Soto that pulled out onto U.S. Highway 169 from Cottage Street. No injuries were reported. Damage to Hook’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000, and damage to Sparling’s vehicle was estimated at $5,000.

October 20, 2017

  • Justin Dean Sill, 34, of 1517 Wright Rd., Norwalk, was arrested at 28057 Fairground Rd. in Adel for public intoxication.
  • Jack William Sehman, 59, of 2523 240th St., Dallas Center, was arrested at this address for domestic assault.
  • Rachel Schmidt, 21, of 409 S. Ninth St., Adel, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for pretrial conference.

October 21, 2017

  • Dillon James Todd, 23, of 1517 S. 15th St., Redfield, was cited and released at 800 Bridge St. in Redfield for possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Anthony James Johnson Parnell, 20, of 1306 11th St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Tiara Dawn Stanek, 24, of 1306 ½ Second St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of forgery or theft of a lottery ticket.

October 22, 2017

  • Tyler James Zuber, 18, of 423 Fifth St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for theft and burglary.
  • Elizabeth Hartwig of Granger was traveling south on Elm Avenue in Woodward when she did not see a vehicle driven by Zeja Shannon of Homewood, Ill., backing out from a parking area and struck the rear passenger side of Shannon’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to Hartwig’s vehicle was estimated at $4,000, and damage to Shannon’s vehicle was estimated at $2,500.

  • Blake Roush of West Des Moines was traveling north in the 30000 block of N Avenue when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries were reported. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $3,500.
