- Abraham Stubbs of Waukee was traveling in the 1000 block of 240th Street when he fell asleep and his vehicle left the roadway and rolled before coming to a stop. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to the Guthrie County Hospital by Panora EMS. Stubbs was flown by Life Flight to Methodist Medical Center.
September 28, 2017
- Gregory White of Cumming was traveling east in the 35000 block of Maffit Lake Road when he slowed down for deer that entered the roadway and was rearended by a vehicle driven by Bradley Riley of Cumming. No injuries were reported. Damage to Riley’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000, and damage to White’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500.

- Kelli Marie Cornelius, 38, of 2015 Third St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.
- Aaron Dean Embrey, 48, of 1008 16th St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while license suspended.
