Donald Burg, 79, of Perry died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, at Rowley Memorial Masonic Home in Perry.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Perry. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry. Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be sent at www.carrisfuneralhome.com.
Donald Edward Burg was born July 16, 1936, to Edward V. and Agnes C. (Kordick) Burg at Nodaway County, Mo.
He graduated from Woodward High School with the class of 1954.
Following graduation, he served in the United States Army.
Donald worked at Mrs. Grimes for 20 years. He also farmed and raised cattle and hogs.
He was a member of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Perry.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Agnes Burg; and a brother, Leo Burg.
He is survived by several cousins.
