Perry’s All Iowa Reads community book discussion

April 25 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

The Perry Public Library hosts the annual All Iowa Reads community-wide book discussion, sponsored by the Iowa Center for the Book.

The All Iowa Reads program encourages communities across the state to collectively read a selected title each year and hold a community discussion event. The purpose of the program is to foster unity through reading.

The 2017 selected title is “Bottomland” by Iowa author Michelle Hoover. Copies of the book are available at the library to purchase or to check out.

The guest discussion facilitator is author, English professor and graduate of the Iowa Writers Workshop Mr. George Minot.

Everyone is welcome at this free literary event. Plan to attend this year with your friends and neighbors. Refreshments will be served.
