Perry’s historic Grand Opera building got ready to have its face washed Friday. Robert Villaneuva of C&D Masonry in Perry prepared the facade for powerwashing, part of the ongoing restoration of the downtown landmark by the Nudgers development group. Construction work on the second-story apartments is nearly complete, and a Tuesday morning walk-through is scheduled, according to a Nudger reached Saturday.
