The Perry Farmers Market will start its season Thursday, June 9 from 4-7 p.m. at the Perry Marketplace, located in Caboose Park at the Raccoon River Valley Trailhead near First and Willis avenues in Perry.

The market will be open every Thursday through September, with its rich variety of local produce, baked goods, crafts and Perry positivity.

Past market fairs have featured live music from 5–7 p.m. on the BRG Music of Perry stage as well as hot dinner options each week.

“We will have some surprises at this year’s Perry Farmers Market, which is another great reason to come by,” said Bob Wilson, executive director of the Perry Chamber of Commerce, which sponsors the marketplace.

Wilson said businesses or groups wishing to provide a hot meal or arrange entertainment for the Market should call him at 515-465-4601.
