May 15, 2017

  • A deputy assisted an ambulance in the 300 block of S. Seventh Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated an alarm in the 1000 block of E. Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • The Greene County Sheriff and a deputy assisted the Guthrie County Sheriff’s office with a fatality fire in Guthrie Center.
  • A deputy investigated a theft in the 1600 block of 170th Street.
  • A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle in the ditch in the 200 block of 320th Street. Drug paraphernalia was found in the car but no driver was located.
  • A deputy assisted a semi at U Avenue and 220th Street that had a flat tire.
  • A deputy investigated a dog bite in the 700 block of Q Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a complaint about kids knocking on doors in the 300 block of N. 17th Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a theft in the 100 block of Lovejoy Street in Rippey.
  • A deputy assisted the Iowa Department of Human Services in the 600 block of School Street in Churdan.
  • A deputy investigated a domestic in the 400 block of Ninth Street in Grand Junction. Chad Lehnhoff, 43, of Grand Junction was arrested for domestic abuse assault.

May 16, 2017

  • Chad Lehnhoff, 43, of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for assault.
  • A deputy investigated a truancy complaint in the 400 block of S. 12th Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of Grand Street in Scranton.
  • Donald Wallace, 79, of Churdan was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
  • A deputy investigated a crossing arm malfunction on the railroad crossing in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy assisted the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation in the 2200 block of M Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a single-car accident that was found to be in Boone County.
  • A deputy assisted with a tree branch on a powerline in the 200 block of S. Seventh Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy picked up road closed signs and detour signs that were blown down along the detour on 220th Street.
  • The Greene County Sheriff was called to assist the Guthrie County Sheriff’s office with a vehicle pursuit but was canceled a short time later.
  • A deputy investigated a fire in the 100 block of Main Street in Cooper. It was found that a shed was struck by lightning. The structure was burnt to the ground, and damage was estimated at $8,000.

May 17, 2017

  • A deputy investigated a residential alarm in the 1000 block of E. Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 2200 block of M Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated two vehicles blocking traffic on U Avenue near 190th Street.
  • A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a transient on M Avenue and 220th Street.
  • The Greene County Sheriff set the detour signs back up near Grand Junction that were blown over during the storm.
  • Dallas Forkner, 34, of Boone was booked into the jail for driving while license barred.

May 18, 2017

  • A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 2200 block of M Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a harassment complaint that was found to be occurring in Boone County.
  • Uvette Winger, 33, of Churdan was booked in the jail on a warrant for third-degree burglary.
  • A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 900 block of Cedar Street in Scranton.
  • The Greene County Sheriff assisted the Greene County EMS with a call in the 300 block of W. McKinley Street.

May 19, 2017

  • A deputy investigated a residential alarm in the 1000 block of E. Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy assisted a motorist in the area of 210th Street and N Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a criminal mischief complaint on 235th Street just east of Jefferson.
  • A deputy removed debris from the roadway on U Avenue near Rippey.
  • The Sheriff assisted the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 300 block of U Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a child custody dispute in the 1100 block of Livingston Street in Churdan.
  • Nathaniel Brown, 50, of Scranton was booked into the jail on warrants for two counts of violation of a no-contact order and third-degree harassment.
  • A deputy put cattle back in the fence at I Avenue and 190th Street.

May 20, 2017

  • A deputy assisted with a structure fire in Dallas County in the 13000 block of 120th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 1400 block of 270th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a property dispute in the 1000 block of E. Railroad Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious person on N Avenue just north of Jefferson.
  • A deputy investigated a civil dispute in the 2200 block of M Avenue.
  • Margaret Wilson, 40, of Jefferson was booked into the jail for trespass and driving while license suspended.
  • A deputy investigated a property dispute in the 2200 block of M Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 1400 block of 270th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a abandoned vehicle on Iowa Highway 144 just north of Rippey.
  • A deputy investigated a dog complaint in the 300 block of N. 17th Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 500 block of E. Main Street in Grand Junction.

  • A deputy tried to locate two dogs running loose in Scranton.
  • A deputy investigated a property dispute in the 1900 block of Locust Street in Scranton.
  • A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 2400 block of 337th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious activity complaint in the 1100 block of 240th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 100 block of Lovejoy Street in Rippey.
  • A deputy investigated cattle out on the roadway on S Avenue near Squirrel Hollow Park.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious person on Iowa Highway 4 near 110th Street.
