  • A deputy assisted an ambulance with a call in the 1600 block of E Avenue.
  • A deputy investigated an alarm in the 1000 block of E. Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy tried to locate an injured dog on N Avenue near 250th Street.
  • A deputy located an injured deer on U Avenue near 210th Street.
  • A deputy investigated a suspicious person at Henderson Park.
  • A deputy investigated an alarm in the 1000 block of E. Main Street in Grand Junction.
  • A deputy investigated a two-car accident at the intersection of 220th Street and U Avenue. Melyda Weltha, 41, of Grand Junction was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier and traveling westbound on 220th Street. Stephen Mok, 34, of Des Moines was stopped at the stop sign and pulled out in front of Weltha. Mok was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. The damage to Weltha’s vehicle was estimated at $3,500, and the damage to Mok’s vehicle was estimated at $1,500.
  • A deputy investigated a single-car deer accident on Quaker Avenue near 265th Street. Justin Thompson was traveling eastbound on Quaker Avenue and struck a deer with his 2015 Ford F150. The estimated damage to the vehicle was $1,500.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
