  • The Stuart Police Department investigated two breaking-and-entering calls.
  • The Guthrie County Sheriff and Guthrie County Chief Deputy assisted with funeral traffic in Guthrie Center.
  • The Stuart Police Department performed a motorist assist on U.S. Interstate 80.
  • Guthrie County Deputies responded to a violation of a no-contact on White Pole Road.
  • The Stuart Police Department responded to a harassment complaint on N.E. Second Street.
  • A Guthrie County Deputy responded to a domestic call on Fir Avenue.
  • The Stuart Police Department, Adair County Sheriff’s office, Iowa State Patrol, Madison County Sheriff’s office and Dallas County Sheriff’s office were involved in a high-speed chase the ended west of Guthrie Center on Jaguar Trail.

  • The Stuart Volunteer Fire Department responded to a power lines down at N.W. Third and Harrison streets.
  • The Casey Volunteer Fire Department assisted with traffic control for an accident on U.S. Interstate 80 near the 79 mile maker.
  • A Guthrie County Deputy responded to a report of a tree down across White Pole Road at Sycamore Avenue in Menlo.
  • Emergency Management responded to a power line down on Wiggle Street in Jamaica.
  • A Guthrie County Deputy responded to a security alarm on S. Third Street in Guthrie Center.
  • A Guthrie County Deputy responded to a report of trespassing at 1005 Main St. in Guthrie Center. The deputy re-secured the crime scene.
  • The Bayard Ambulance and Panora Ambulance responded to a medical call on Prairie Street in Bayard.
  • A Guthrie County Deputy investigated a report of a suspicious man on the property of the New Homestead.
  • A Guthrie County Deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 1000 block of Main Street in Guthrie Center.

May 18, 2017

  • A welfare check was performed by Guthrie County Deputy and a Stuart Police Department Officer on Lakeshore Drive.
