  • An officer assisted a Greene County Deputy Sheriff in searching for a male who was involved in a domestic situation in Churdan. It was believed he was in or near Jefferson. The person was not located.
  • Mike Sorber reported an abandoned vehicle parked in the 200 block of Hill Rose Lane. An officer towed the vehicle from the area and placed it in the Jefferson City Impound Lot.
  • Steve Murphy reported a dog whose chain was wrapped around a tree in the 100 block of N. Maple Street. Murphy said the animal cannot get to the water dish. An officer made contact with the animal’s owner, who corrected the issue.
  • A caller reported a dog in distress tied up in the area of the 700 block of W. South Street. An officer responded but did not locate the animal.
  • An officer checked on a female who fell in the 200 block of W. Lincoln Way. The female was fine.
  • An officer assisted a male with a civil property exchange at 107 W. Madison St.
  • An officer removed a feral cat caught in a private live trap at 108 E. Central Ave.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
