Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson is in charge of arrangements for Joy Bartley, 77, of Boone. Joy died Feb. 18, 2016, at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames.
A funeral service will be held Monday, Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Joy is survived by her husband, Paul Bartley, of Boone; sons, Nick Bartley of Sioux City, S.D., and Lance (Shannon) Bartley of Harlan; daughter, Dr. Lea Bartley of Ames; father, Horace (Ruth) Hedges of Jefferson; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Karen (Joe) Jackson of Fort Dodge and JoAnne (John) Smith, of Owings, Md.
