Karen (Cain) Peters, 78, of Burlington and formerly of Rippey, Ft. Dodge and Humboldt died Friday, March 24, 2017, at Great River Hospice in Burlington, Iowa.
Funeral services will be will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 29 at the Rippey United Methodist Church in Rippey. Burial will be in the Rippey Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 28 at Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson after 1 p.m., with her family present from 5-7 p.m.
Karen is survived by her children, Kathy (George) Jensen of Waukee; David (Shari) Peters of Humboldt, Jane (Ron) Ericson of West Pueblo, Colo., Donna Peters of Lakewood, Colo., Julie Georgiou of Denver, Colo., and Doug (Ann) Peters of Burlington; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorials should be directed to the Burlington Humane Society.
