The next seminar in the Perry Lutheran Home’s Aging Well series is entitled, “How to Start and Hold the Senior Care Conversation.”

If you ever wonder how best to approach the topic of senior care with a parent or loved one, now or in the future, and want expert advice on how to start and hold this type of a conversation, plan to attend this free and informative seminar.

The featured speaker will be the Perry Lutheran Home’s Clinical Social Worker Toni Larson. Thanks to Larson’s experience with both the Perry Lutheran Home and Lutheran Family Service, she possesses insight into the very real challenges that can arise in these oftentimes difficult situations.

You will learn ways to approach the conversation and when, where and how to have the conversation so that it is beneficial for all involved.

The free seminar will take place at noon Tuesday, Aug. 8 at the Perry Lutheran Home cottage (directly west of main campus) at 2213 Willis Ave. in Perry.

Lunch will be provided, so bring a friend. To reserve your spot, call or email Toni Larson today at 515-465-5342 or tlarson@LFSiowa.org.

The Aging Well monthly seminar series typically falls on the second Tuesday of each month and is offered either over the noon hour or in the evening. A variety of locations are used for the series, including Main Campus on Willis Avenue, Spring Valley Campus next to Dallas County Hospital and other locations in Perry.
