To the editor:
There’s been some kind of alignment problem with the storm drain project on 10th Street.
Work has totally stopped now for eight days.
There is a 10-foot-plus hole with pretty much no fencing in the middle of Otley Avenue,
along the sidewalk path kids will be taking for Halloween.
Even if they can’t figure out what to do at the corner, the construction company
could start removing the dirt and repair the curbs and driveways up from Evelyn Street.
Tenth Street is a muddy mess now.
We haven’t had the use of our driveways for over a week now, with not one worker on site.
I called the Perry City Hall a week ago. They said they are working on it.
