Marie Bailey-Borst, 88, of Adel entered Heaven to meet her Lord June 16, 2017.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 19 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Perry. Visitation will be Sunday, June 18 from 5-8 p.m. at Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry. Burial will take place at the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry.

Left to cherish Marie’s memory are two sons, Dan (Vivian) Bailey of Indianapolis, Ind., and Del (Brenda) Bailey of Adel; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bobbie (Mary) Godwin of Johnston; sisters, Glesna Coulter of Adel and Lavon (Lloyd) Linn of Ankeny.
She was preceded in death by her three husbands; son, Kenneth D. Bailey; two great-grandchildren, Austin M. Powers and Melody L. Bailey; three sisters, Esther I. Niemela, Alice E. Madren and Lois M. Van Sickle; seven brothers, Earl I., Dick T., David D., Donald J., Paul H., William F. and Glen G. Godwin.
