Marilyn Marie (Ball) Bills, 78, of Melbourne, Fla., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 11, 2015.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, June 5 at Iles Brandt Chapel, 1301 Ash St. in Dallas Center, with visitation prior to service from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Private interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Minburn.
Marilyn was born in Perry June 19, 1936.
She was a loving single parent to her two daughters, Jackie and Debbie.
She made her career as a dietary aide, cooking for the Woodward Resource Center in Woodward and the Dallas County Hospital in Perry.
She loved being with her family and friends and enjoyed their company while shopping and going to the casinos. She was always excited to win any amount at the casino, and she let everyone know of her good fortune! She was a member of Joe’s Club in Melbourne, where she participated in several activities and was delighted in winning at Bingo.
Marilyn will be forever missed by her daughters, Debbie Hook and Jackie (Joseph) Strohfus; her granddaughters, Melissa Bailey, Mindy (Josh) Rigler, Amy Strohfus and Kimberly Strohfus; her sister, Alberta Lovejoy; and brother, Robert Rector.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Sabra Rector; her sister, Darlene Smith; her brother, Donald Rector; and two infant grandchildren, Heather Strohfus and Andrew Hook.
