Hastings Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of arrangements for Melody Minshall, 60, of Perry. Melody died June 15, 2015, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Services will be Friday, June 26 at the First Christian Church in Perry.
Melody is survived by her husband, Dean Minshall of Perry; children, Jennifer (James) Becker of Des Moines, Aaron (Sara) Becker of Kansas City, Mo., Sean (Kim) Becker of Des Moines, Jeremiah (Sherry) Minshall of Adel, Sara (Layne) McGinnis of Des Moines and John (Nicole) Holman of Hartford; 20 grandchildren; brother, Kelly (Kathleen) Summy of De Soto; and sister, Kathy (Bill) Hastie of De Soto.
Memorials can be sent to the family for future designation.
