Miles Menke, son of Ned and Meg Menke of Perry, was christened Sunday at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Perry.
Young Miles’ grandparents are Jim and Beth Olsen of Osage, Iowa, and Dan and Patricia Menke of Calumet, Iowa. Miles has an older brother, Pierce, 5, and a sister, Brynn, 2.

Jim, continue doing it the way you’ve been doing it. Just because Mr. Patrick (Perdue) is having a conflict doesn’t require changes. I know I’ve had content issues in the past, but you correctly stuck to the middle ground and didn’t bend to pressure. I got over myself. In time Mr. Patrick will get over himself, too.
