Chad Morman of Perry was elevated to the office of Exalted Ruler of the Perry Elks Lodge 407 in installation ceremonies held April 1. The exalted ruler is a local lodge’s highest office.
After Morman’s installation, veteran Perry Elk Jerry Anderson was named Elk of the Year. Anderson joined the Perry Elks Lodge 407 in 1983 and has seen the benevolent association’s ups and downs over the years. Anderson now manages the lounge, which suffered a series of burglaries over the last 12 months.
Congratulating Exalted Ruler Morman and Elk of the Year Anderson on their honors at the Saturday event were Heather Erickson, Dave Davis, Greg Haglund, John Taylor, Denny Snowgren, Amber Green, Jon Jamison, Matt Mickelson and Dwayne Morman.
