The city of Perry announced Wednesday that Corell Construction Inc, the contractor for the North Street construction project, will begin Thursday, April 27 to place traffic control devices to warn residents of roadwork ahead.
Motorists and pedestrians will see the devices along 16th and 18th streets between McKinley and Park streets while the two-block stretch of North Street is paved.
All drivers and pedestrians should exercise caution in the work area as equipment and personnel will be moving in and out of the construction site throughout the week until the paving of North Street is done.
