March 20, 2017

  • An officer received a report of a 13-year-old male who snuck out of his grandma’s residence. The officer was able to talk with the boy on his phone and advised him to go home, which he did.
  • Sara Norem reported that her mailbox was taken from outside of her residence.

March 21, 2017

  • An officer assisted Paul Fangmann, owner of Fang’s Automotive, with an abandoned vehicle.
  • An officer met with an insurance company representative in order to return items from a theft case of some years ago.
  • An officer responded to a reported domestic dispute at 822 N. First St. This was a verbal argument only. The male left the residence.
  • An officer arrested Daryl Johnson, 74, of Ogden for alleged first-offense OWI. Johnson was also issued a citation for an open container.

March 22, 2017

  • An officer assisted the Ogden Volunteer Fire Department with a fire in the 900 block of 220th Street.

March 23, 2017

  • An officer assisted with a funeral escort.
  • An officer received an animal complaint in the 300 block of S.E. Fourth Street.
  • An officer arrested Mary Reynolds, 59, of Acura Health Care of Ogden on an outstanding warrant from Woodbury County.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders at 502 S. First St.
  • An officer received an animal complaint in the 400 block of E. Oak Street.
  • An officer investigated possible harassment in the 500 block W. Locust Street.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden Volunteer Fire Department at 520 N. First St. with a house fire.
  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist in the 700 block of 216th Street.
  • An officer assisted a Boone County Deputy Sheriff on a traffic stop at Casey’s.
  • An officer received an animal complaint at 102 W. Walnut St.

March 24, 2017

  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders at 319 N. First St.
  • An officer investigated a motor vehicle accident on the H Avenue ramp to eastbound 220th Street.

March 25, 2017

  • An officer was dispatched to look for a red Dodge Caravan reportedly driving carelessly westbound on 220th Street from Boone. The officer stopped the vehicle in the 500 block of 220th Street and cited the driver, Michael Prince, 52, of Churdan for alleged speed 75/55.
  • An officer received a complaint of juveniles knocking on a door and window of the residence at 501 W. Division St. The officer caught three male juveniles and told them to go home.

March 26, 2017

  • An office assisted someone inquiring where he could park his motor home for the evening.
  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders and Boone County EMS.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
