March 6, 2017

  • An officer assisted a lost motorist.
  • An officer investigated a complaint of a possible intoxicated driver on U.S. Highway 30. The officer located the vehicle, and the driver was okay.
  • An officer removed debris from the roadway in the 100 block of S. First Street.
  • An officer assisted someone with a theft.
  • An officer assisted someone with a civil issue in the 100 block of S. First Street.

March 7, 2017

  • An officer assisted the Ogden First Responders and the Boone County EMS with someone having seizures at the Ogden Manor.

March 8, 2017

  • An Ogden resident called and wanted to speak with officer regarding a child custody situation in Illinois.
  • An officer assisted someone locked out of vehicle.

March 9, 2017

  • An officer received a complaint of possible inappropriate text messages sent by an adult to a teenager. The communication took place outside of school hours, and the officer will speak with all parties involved.
  • An officer received a complaint about a hit-and-run accident involving minor property damage that took place in the parking lot at Casey’s General Store.
  • An Ogden resident reported being harassed via letters in the mail.

March 10, 2017

  • An officer fingerprinted an Ogden resident in order to enable the person to take the state nursing board exams.
  • An officer spoke with someone regarding a trespassing incident Thursday.
  • An officer received a report that an Ogden resident had caught a Lab/mix running loose in the 500 block of N.E. Fourth Street and had taken the dog to the city kennel.
  • An officer received a complaint about someone driving carelessly in the Ogden High School parking lot. The officer spoke with the person and advised him to go home.

March 11, 2017

  • An officer received a report of a possible intoxicated driver at Casey’s General Store. The officer was unable to locate the person.

March 12, 2017

  • An officer returned a phone call to someone regarding to an ongoing investigation.
  • An officer received a complaint about an aggressive dog that was running loose in the 300 block of S.E. Fourth Street. The dog belongs at 325 E. Division St.,  and the owner was able to call the dog back home upon the officer’s arrival.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
