After trading on Perry’s east side for more than 30 years, Orscheln Farm and Home will soon move into quarters three times larger when the former Alco Discount Store building on First Avenue near Iowa Highway 141 becomes the new outlet for the Perry retailer.
The manager of the Perry Orscheln said they are still working out the exact date for the move. He said the new store will have three times the space of their current location, making the Perry store no longer the smallest of the 160 Orscheln outlets.
