Panorama's Luke South heads for the plate to score in a game at Madrid.

PANORA — The long wait ended Monday for the Panorama hardballers, as a 10-9 win at Earlham gave the team their first victory of the season, with the Panthers adding a 16-1 thumping of AC/GC Tuesday for a win number two.

Tied at 1-all after four frames Monday, Panorama (2-8, 2-7) scored four times in the fifth and five times in the sixth. Earlham added two runs in each inning to their own total to enter the seventh trailing, 10-5. The hosts plated four runs, but came up one shy of forcing extra innings as the Panthers claimed the WCAC tilt.

A 10-run bottom of the first answered a single AC/GC run in Tuesday’s game, with four Panorama tallies in the second, and one in both the third and fourth innings ending the contest early.

No statistical information was provided by Panorama for either contest.
