PANORA — Continuing a longstanding school tradition, the Panorama cross country team contributed to Homecoming activities by running the game ball for the HoCo game from the visiting school to Panora.

This year it meant a trip from Ogden, far closer than the 67-mile route last year from Manson (NW Webster). Panther harriers ran in several-mile legs, switching off with teammates at select points.

Runners traveled through Perry en route to Panora, exchanging duties during a brief break at Caboose Park.

The game ball will be run onto the field just prior to tonight’s 7 p.m. kickoff.
