Thirteen retiring members of the Perry Community School District staff will be honored Wednesday, May 10 for their service to the community life of Perry. A reception at the Hotel Pattee, 1112 Willis Ave., will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and the community is invited to attend the reception and wish the retirees well.
Retirees include Damon Adair (33 years), Kaye Adair (27 years), Rose Anderson (15 years), Gary Czerniakowski (11 years), Kathleen Lipovac (22 years), David Loyd (21 years), Jolene Niemeyer (41 years), Roger Niemeyer (29 years), Laura Painter (26 years), Catherine Petersen (33 years), James Richmond (27 years), Carolyn Sheehy (28 years) and Lynn Ubben (eight years).
These 13 public servants have devoted a collective total of 321 years of labor to the youth and families of the Perry area and deserve the community’s deepest thanks.
