April 21, 2016

  • A caller said a suspicious vehicle has been parked at the boat ramp on County Road P58 for two weeks. An officer responded and alerted the office of the Dallas County Sheriff.
  • A caller from a local retail store said a customer “was upset as she did not believe the right amount was on her Hy-Vee fuel card.” The caller said she told the customer to take the matter up with Hy-Vee, and the customer then left without paying for her gas. An officer responded and made contact with the customer, who returned and paid.

April 22, 2016

  • Maxim Nicholas Ratcliff, 20, 32228 210th St., Dallas Center, was arrested on a charge of second-offense possession or purchase of alcohol by a minor.
  • Andy Alexis Ortiz, 19, 2508 Perry Park Ave., Perry, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
