  • A caller said her daughter “has taken off sometime overnight.” An officer responded, located the runaway, “spoke to her about her behavior,” and the “juvenile was transported back to her mother’s house.”
  • A caller said his dog was missing.
  • A caller “requested an officer stand by while her ex removes a fish tank from her apartment.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “someone has slashed her tires to her vehicle parked in front of her residence.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said he “found two kittens in his boat.” An officer responded and transported the animals to the Perry Animal Holding facility. The Humane Society of Perry was notified.
  • A caller said a female “punched her in the face.” An officer responded.
  • A caller “complained of a dog barking.” An officer responded.
  • Jesus Ramirez-Perez of 608 Second St. in Perry was issued a citation for first-offense nuisance burning.
  • A caller said “there was a Buick Regal driving westbound on the bike trail.” An officer responded but did not find the vehicle. The Dallas County Sheriff’s office was notified.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with a dog she caught running at large. A caller said his dog was missing and was told his dog “was still at the police department, and he came in and picked him up.”
  • A caller “reported dogs barking.” An officer responded.
  • Ramon Alejandro Jumbo-Solano, 32, 10111 Hickory Lane, Urbandale, was arrested on a charge of driving while barred.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
