- A caller from a local restaurant said “she found a set of keys in the parking lot.” An officer responded, took possession of the items and “logged them into evidence.”
- A funeral escort was provided by officers of the Perry Police Department.
- The Perry Police Department School Resource Officer responded to the Perry Middle School for a child “who was trying to tear things off the wall, slamming doors and was out of control.”
- A patrolling officer of the Perry Police Department “was flagged down by a civilian regarding juveniles smoking around the middle school.” The officer “patrolled the area and was unable to locate” the young smokers.
- A caller said “a car had rear ended him.” The caller reported “no injuries.” An officer responded.
- A caller said she “wanted to speak with an officer regarding her soon-to-be-ex-husband.” An officer responded and discussed “steps for a non-contact order and various civil issues.”
- A caller said “it smelled like someone was doing drugs” in a nearby apartment. The caller “thought she smelled ether.” An officer responded and “could not smell anything outside of the ordinary” and “did not see anything suspicious.”
- A caller reported “a dead opossum by the side of her driveway.” The Perry Public Works Department was notified.
- A caller said “someone was trying to break into her car less than five minutes ago.” An officer responded.
- Paloma Perez, 19, 2017 Otley Ave., Perry was arrested on charges of first-degree theft, eluding and accessory to a felony.
- Haylee Rote, 21, 302 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on charges of first-degree theft, eluding and accessory to a felony.
