- A worker from the McDonald’s restaurant in Perry called and said “a customer was being rude.” The caller said several off-duty McDonald’s workers overheard the customer’s comments, and a verbal altercation ensued. Officers responded. The aggrieved customer told police “she placed an order and it was wrong.” When the error was corrected, the customer “asked them to remake her sandwich because it was now cold.” The altercation followed. Officers served the unhappy customer with a trespass notice.

- Julie Ann Simmons, 18, 302 N.E. Second St., Stuart, was arrested on a charge of first-offense OWI-drug related.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
