July 24, 2017

  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and asked to speak with an officer “about obtaining a protection order.” An officer responded.
  • Richard Allen Keller of 1323 Sixth St., Perry, was issued a citation for first-offense nuisance burning.
  • A caller said her mother lost her wallet.
  • A caller said “his vehicle had been vandalized.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said someone stole $100 from her nephew’s wallet. An officer responded.
  • A caller said her dog was lost.
  • A caller said his residence “was broken into, and items were taken.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said his girlfriend “wants to put his items on the curb, and she wants to put a ‘Free’ sig on it.” The caller said he “wanted to speak with an officer regarding his rights.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said she believed “her EBT card arrived in the mail, and her mother threw it in the trash.” An officer responded and made contact with the mother, who “admitted to throwing the card away.” The card could not be found.
  • A caller said he lost his keys.
  • A caller said “someone used her debit card to make purchases online.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “someone broke into the home stole her medications along with some other items.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “she heard a loud noise downstairs at her residence.” The caller said “she is upstairs” and “doesn;t know where it came from.” Officers responded and searched inside and outside the residence but found “no evidence that a burglary or attempted burglary took place.” The officers concluded “a decoration had fallen off a TV stand and caused the noise.”

July 25, 2017

  • A caller said “someone had broken into her house.” The caller said “there is dirt all over, and there are doors open.” An officer responded and determined “everything was okay.”
  • A caller said “sometime in the night someone drove through his yard,” leaving “tracks through his yard.” The caller said he found “a license plate lying in the yard as well.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
