November 23, 2016

  • A caller said a dog “has been barking and whining all morning.” The caller said “it’s an ongoing issue.”
  • A caller said he “believes some people down the street are coming onto his property and breaking yard ornaments.” The caller said “the ornaments themselves were not damaged, but he claimed the stakes that go into the ground were busted off.” The caller also said “his cameras were pushed down, and someone broke his garden hose.” An officer responded.
  • A caller “requested to talk to an officer about custody issues.” An officer responded.
  • A 911 caller said he and his wife “were having an argument because he believes” his wife “is seeing another man.” The caller said “the reason they called the police is because they wanted officers to know they were going to separate.” Officers responded, and “all was okay.”
  • Ntabwiza Shukurani, 27, 2801 First Ave., #38, Perry, was arrested on charges of first-offense OWI and interference with official acts.

November 24, 2016

  • A caller from a local tavern asked whether officers of the Perry Police Department “could do a walk through.” The caller said “nothing is wrong as of now but would like people to calm down.” Officers responded.
  • A caller said “she is being harassed by the family of the person who was arrested.” An officer responded and “found that the subjects were not outside.”
  • An employee at a local retail store told a patrolling officer of the Perry Police Department “that some people in a white truck parked in the parking lot had vomited on the side of their car and left a bunch of napkins used to clean up the mess on the ground.” The officer responded, made contact with the vomiters and “had them clean up their trash.”

* A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
