September 12, 2017

  • A caller said “someone has taken her medical records from her residence.” An officer responded and “located the documents. All okay.”
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded, recognized the animal and “was able to take the dog back to the property.” The caller soon called again “and said the dog is back there again.” An officer responded.
  • A caller asked to speak with an officer. An officer responded.
  • Officers of the Perry Police Department stood by while someone retrieved his belongings from a residence.
  • A caller reported a dog inside a vehicle. The caller said “the windows are up,” and “no one has been around for about 10 minutes.” Officers responded.
  • A caller asked to speak with an officer “regarding his options on what to do when his tenants took his snowblower when he moved out.” An officer responded.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with a “kitten that was dropped off at his doorstep.” An officer responded and transported the kitten to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • Anthony James Johnson Parnell, 20, 1306 11th St., Perry, was arrested on charges of first-offense OWI-drug related, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of instruction permit, no insurance, no seatbelt and expired registration.

September 13, 2017

  • A caller said two dogs were running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dogs.
  • Jean Devilbiss, 66, 204 Lucinda St., Perry, was issued a citation for first-offense dog at large.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with a male juvenile who “has a history of providing fake urine.” An officer responded.

September 14, 2017

  • Aaron Dean Emrey, 48, 2411 McKinley St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
  • A caller “requested help with putting on her son’s leg brace.” An officer responded, and the Dallas County EMS was paged.
  • A caller said “her son had fallen in the tub head first.” The caller said her son was “conscious and breathing” and was “lying on the ground still.” An officer responded, and the Dallas County EMS was paged.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
