The Perry Elementary School second graders wanted to celebrate the completion of 120 days of school by collecting and donating 120 items of food to the Perry Food Pantry, but their enthusiasm for the end of the winter ran away with them, and they collected a total of 231 items.
“Way to go, second grade!” exclaimed Perry Community School District Superintendent Lynn Ubben.
