The driver of a pickup apparently lost control of the vehicle in the 1800 block of eastbound Willis Avenue Saturday about 9:30 p.m., striking a power pole and coming to rest in the deep snow of a front yard.

Officers of the Perry Police Department responded, and a field sobriety test was administered to the driver, who was alone in the vehicle and who apparently sustained no injuries

Damage to the front right portion of the vehicle led police to summon a flatbed tow truck from Cromwell’s Towing in Perry.
